About Soar Sports Media

Soar Sports Media is a creative sports media platform dedicated to telling the stories behind the athletes, teams and communities that make sport so powerful. Through professional photography, videography and digital content, our mission is to inspire, develop and promote those striving for greatness.

Founded by Mansour, who holds a Master's degree in Film and Television Production, Soar Sports Media was created to combine a lifelong passion for sport with the art of visual storytelling. Every project is driven by the belief that every athlete has a story worth telling and every achievement deserves to be seen.

​

The inspiration behind Soar Sports Media began many years earlier. As a young basketball player, Mansour didn't have the grades and started his basketball journey later than most. He knew that if he wanted an opportunity, he needed coaches to see him play. For his birthday, instead of asking for expensive gifts, he asked his mother for a video camera.

​

Armed with nothing more than determination, he began recording every game he played—from the courts of Bethnal Green Park, to rough-and-ready local competitions, Hosanna Summer Tournaments, and the Streetball.co.uk All-Star Games. He taught himself how to film and edit his own highlights before asking his college friend, Lookman, to design the cover for his recruitment video.

That highlight tape was sent to colleges across the United States.

One year later, Mansour received a basketball scholarship to America and began living the dream he had worked so hard to achieve.

That experience became the foundation of Soar Sports Media.
