Once a month - You've got time
Soar Sports Central League is founded by Mansour Mbye, founder of Soar Sports Global.

So, What Is SSCL?
Simple.
Once a month. One central location. You bring your team. We take care of the rest.
Soar Sports Central League is a monthly league and tournament designed for people who love playing sport but don't necessarily want the commitment of playing every single week.
You might be competitive. You might just want to get together with your people, compete, have a laugh and go home.
Both are welcome.
That's why we'll have different divisions to suit different levels of competition.
The season starts 1 November and runs until April, with games taking place one Sunday each month.
How Does It Work?
Each month, your team comes down and plays its league games.
Games are quick:
10-minute halves.
20-minute games.
Running clock.
We need a minimum of 4 teams to run a division.
But here's where it gets interesting.
At the end of the league games, we have a knockout tournament on the same day.
1st vs 4th.
2nd vs 3rd.
Winners play in the Final.
Win that Final and you're crowned champions of that month.
So, for example:
Team Soar Sports — November Champions. 🏆
But that's not the end of it.
Your wins and losses also earn you points towards the season leaderboard.
Every time you come back and play, your results are added.
Play Once or Play the Season
This is one of the things I really like about SSCL.
You've got flexibility.
You don't have to commit to playing every single month.
Enter once if that's what works for you.
Come back another month? Your team carries on from where you left off and your results continue to build on the leaderboard.
At the end of the season, we bring everybody together for Finals Day.
One last battle to finish the season.
Team Ambassadors
Now, if I've personally sent you this link, there's probably a reason.
I've hand-picked you.
I'm looking for people who are competitive, have personality and want to win — but understand that sportsmanship still matters.
That's the type of energy I want around SSCL.
As an SSCL Team Ambassador, you'll be allocated a team for the season.
You pick your players. You manage your team.
You'll also get a say in different aspects of how SSCL develops, plus discounts and other ambassador perks.
And don't worry — being an ambassador doesn't mean you personally have to play every month.
Your main job is simple:
Build your team and get them to show up once a month.
Kit? We've Got You.
This is another part I wanted to make easy.
Kit is provided.
No trying to organise everybody to buy matching uniforms.
No unnecessary faff.
All you have to do is show up.
How Much Does It Cost?
Standard one-off team entry is £20 per player, with a minimum squad of 7 players.
Ambassadors will receive a separate breakdown covering season pricing, discounts and additional perks once they come on board.

Our Story
How Soar Sports Central League Was Created
So, this is how the concept of Soar Sports Central League was created.
It’s an idea I’ve had for a long time. But if you’ve ever organised competitions, leagues or sporting events, then you’ll know it can be hit-and-miss.
Sometimes everything comes together.
Other times, life happens.
Last week, I was doing some rehab at the gym. As I came out and started getting changed, I suddenly heard somebody shout:
“MansourTheGreat!”
I looked around and, to my surprise, it was one of my former teammates. A Spartan.
JJ Bowler, aka Black Magic.
JJ is a poet and somebody whose words have a way of reaching people on different levels. It’s always great to see him.
We started catching up while I was getting changed. He had seen some of my recent videos, so we started talking about those, basketball and just life in general.
Honestly, conversations with JJ are always thought-provoking.
I don’t get to see him often, so I made the most of it.
As I was leaving, we were still yapping away and reminiscing. I explained to him that The Legends had to be put on pause.
But then I said:
“I’ve got another idea. Would you be interested?”
He looked at me and said:
“What sort of idea are you talking about?”
I said:
“Well, I’m tired of playing against scrubs.”
Now, when we say “scrubs,” we’re not just talking about somebody who isn’t the best player.
We’re talking about people who don’t understand competition.
People who can’t take losing.
People who turn up with a bad attitude and change the whole energy of the game.
Or people who say they’re coming, but when it’s time to play, you can’t rely on them.
So, I explained the idea to him.
A central league. Once a month. Kit provided. Everything organised. All you have to do is show up.
You can play once.
You can come every month.
You can be competitive, enjoy yourself and still fit it around your life.
JJ said:
“Once a month would work really well for me.”
A couple more of his guys turned up, and we decided to go and grab a coffee.
And you know me—if you’ve seen my page, you already know I love a coffee.
We sat down, caught up and went back and forth about life, basketball and the idea.
Honestly, it was probably one of the best catch-ups I’ve had in a long time.
It was something I really needed, especially after the injury.
During the conversation, I asked JJ:
“If I create it, will you come on board and become an ambassador?”
He said:
“Sure. Why not?”
And that was it.
That was literally the inception of Soar Sports Central League.
Sometimes an idea can sit in your mind for years.
You think about it. You plan it. You put it away. Then you come back to it again.
But sometimes, all it takes is the right conversation, with the right person, at the right time, to make you say:
Let’s do it.
I’m passionate about sports.
I enjoy creating activities, leagues and competitions that give people opportunities to connect, compete and stay physically active.
Because once you leave secondary school, staying active becomes more difficult.
Life starts happening.
Work.
Family.
Responsibilities.
Before you know it, the sports you used to play every week have slowly disappeared from your life.
That is one of the reasons I’m creating Soar Sports Central League.
You don’t have to commit to playing every week.
You don’t have to organise the kit.
You don’t have to worry about all the unnecessary faff.
Once a month. One central location. All you have to do is show up.
And if you’re still reading this, congratulations—you made it to the end.
